Post graduate department was established in the year 2010. Currently there are 10 well qualified and dedicated faculty on the role, comprising of two professors, two associate professors and six assistant professors, four of them are with Ph.D degree. The entire teaching faculty is involved in improving the efficiency of the department through inclusive teaching and transformative research in the field of drug delivery systems. So far the department has produced over 150 post graduates and three PhDs. Currently 18 students are pursuing their post graduate studies and three of the teaching faculty is pursuing doctoral studies. All the faculty in the department have published several peer reviewed scientific articles in national and international journals and some of them have authored several standard textbooks in Pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. The department is consistently catering to the needs of pharmacy professionals required in industry, community pharmacy, academia and research in India and abroad. The entire teaching faculty is continuously involved in upgrading their knowledge and skills by upgrading their qualification and also constantly involved in the training programs.

FACILITIES IN THE DEPARTMENT

The department has state-of-the-art laboratories with ample space and required instruments to carry out experiments as per the university syllabus, also to perform research studies of postgraduate and doctoral course. Pilot plant set up for solid and liquid dosage forms is inspiring the graduate and post graduate students to have glimpse of the pharmaceutical industry in order to have a better appreciation of practical applications of theory.
