Dr. Smita D. Madagundi, born on 25th May 1979, did her B. Pharm, in 1997, from Luqman College of Pharmacy, Gulbarga, RGUHS Bangalore, Karnataka, India, M. Pharm. in Pharmacognosy from K.L.E.S’s College of Pharmacy, Hubli , RGUHS Bangalore, Karnataka in 2008, and Ph.D. in 2021, from ,RGUHS Bangalore, Karnataka. She began her teaching career as Lecturer in 2008 S.E.T’s College of Pharmacy, Dharwad. She has published about 45 research papers, presented about 15 research papers in national and international conferences in India. She has co-authored 3 text books and 1 book chapters. She has 5 patents to her credit. She has guided 07 and co guided 20 M. Pharm students. She is a reviewer member of many national and international journals. Her areas of expertise include plants endophytes and their secondary metabolites, novel drug delivery systems for phytochemicals and Phytopharmacology.
