Mr. Shriram S. Purohit, born on 5th April 1979, did his B. Pharm, in 2001, from K.L.E.S’s College of Pharmacy, Hubli, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences-Karnataka, India & M.Pharm in Pharma-Chemistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences-Karnataka, India in 2004. He began his teaching career as Lecturer in 2006- Till date at S.E.T’s College of Pharmacy, Dharwad. Mr. Purohit  has published about 20 research papers, presented about  06  research papers in national and international conferences both in India and abroad. He has received funding for his research project worth 2.5 lacs from Advanced research project funded by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences-Karnataka, Bangalore. He has guided 35 M. Pharm students and currently guiding 03 for their M.Pharm dissertations. He is a reviewer/co-editor for national and international journals/books. As a teacher and researcher Mr. Shriram Purohit is innovative and committed. He is taking enormous interest in training undergraduate and postgraduate students on various areas of Medicinal chemistry & Computer aided drug discovery using advanced techniques. His areas of expertise include the use of softwares like MDL-ISIS, Chemdraw, ACD-Chemsketch, Pymol, Molegro Virtual Docker 5.5 & the various synthetic chemistry techniques.
